A committee of five members has conducted a full line-by-line review of the Post 186 Constitution and Bylaws, resulting in a proposed update for 2025. This effort ensures our governing documents remain in full compliance with Department and National requirements while continuing to meet the specific needs of our Post.

The draft will be presented to the Executive Committee at its October meeting for review. Following that, it will be brought before the General Membership at the November meeting for discussion and a vote.

If approved by the membership, the updated Constitution and Bylaws will be submitted to the Department of Florida for review and final approval. Once that step is complete, the revised Constitution and Bylaws will take effect as the official governing document of Post 186.

Members are strongly encouraged to read the draft in advance and participate in the upcoming discussions.
